Instant Marking

Watch an answer get marked

Written working is checked point by point against the mark scheme, so a student sees exactly which marks they earned and which they missed.

Automatic marking can occasionally get it wrong, so every answer has a “Question this mark” button, and teachers can change any mark.

Pure · Differentiation

Marked

Differentiate y = x² ln x with respect to x. [2 marks]

dy/dx = 2x ln x + x
  • Met: Product rule applied: 2x ln x + x² · (1/x)
  • Met: Simplified to 2x ln x + x

2 / 2

Full marks. Clear use of the product rule and a tidy final form.

Practice that tells you what to do next

Calm, clear steps for children, parents and teachers.

  • Understand each mistake

Every answer lists the mark points met or missed, with a tip for the next mark. Think a mark is wrong? One tap flags it.

  • Know what to do next

Wrong answers collect in a Mistakes to retry list, so revision starts where it is needed.

  • Progress by topic

Red, amber and green across pure, statistics and mechanics, for the student and their teacher.

The whole child, in every stage

  • Exam-ready

11+, GCSE and A level: exam-style questions, timed mocks and marks that show their reasoning.

  • Thinks clearly

Puzzle Maths from Year 5 to Year 9: problems with a clever way in, in the style of the national challenges.

  • Builds things

Code Quest's block coding in primary, then Python Lab in Years 7 to 9: real programs, run in the browser, with a project in every unit.

  • Understands the digital world

AI Explorers: how chatbots work, why they get things wrong, bias, deepfakes and who is responsible. Straight answers for Years 7 to 9.

Built for children, trusted by parents

  • Minimal data

We keep the student's name and username for their teachers, their answers, and a parent email only for invites and password resets.

  • No adverts, no tracking

Nothing is sold, no adverts are shown, and there are no analytics or tracking cookies.

  • Clean exits

When a student leaves, their access ends at once and their account is deleted 30 days later.

Questions schools ask

Can families buy A-level Maths?
Not yet. A-level Mathematics is available through school licences today. A plan for families is on the way; email us and we will tell you when it opens.
Which specification does it follow?
The A-level Mathematics content is common to every exam board, so it suits any school. We say which specification a topic list follows only so you know what it covers.
How is marking done?
Written working is marked automatically by our marking engine against the mark points, which are shown with the result. Students can press “Question this mark”, and teachers can change any mark in the results.
Do students need an email address?
No. Each student chooses a username from their parent's invite. The parent's email is used only for the invite and for password resets.
