Instant Marking

Watch an answer get marked

Multiple-choice and number answers are marked instantly. Written answers are checked point by point against the mark scheme, so you see exactly which marks you earned and which you missed.

Automatic marking can occasionally get it wrong, so every answer has a “Question this mark” button, and you can mark yourself if credits run out.

Statistics · Sampling

Marked

Describe how to take a systematic sample of 30 people from 300. [2 marks]

Pick a random start, then every 10th person.
  • Met: Random starting point
  • Missed: Says where the 10 comes from (300 ÷ 30)

1 / 2

Good method. Show the interval: 300 ÷ 30 = 10.

Revision that tells you what to do next

Practise a topic, learn from the answer, then retry your mistakes.

  • Understand each mistake

Every answer lists the mark points met or missed, with a tip for the next mark. Think a mark is wrong? One tap flags it.

  • Know what to do next

Wrong answers collect in a Mistakes to retry list, and a weekly plan spreads topics across the weeks to your exam.

  • Keep track of progress

Red, amber and green by topic, with timed practice mocks when you are ready. Parents see activity and scores.

Optional extras

Helpful tools for revising alone or with friends.

  • Plus

    Built-in voice tutor

Type or speak a question. The tutor explains, then asks a follow-up, and only talks about your syllabus topics.

  • Friends

    Group Challenge

Quiz friends in a private squad: same timed questions, quickest correct answers score most. Chat opens only during a challenge and is then deleted.

  • Calculator and formulae

An on-screen calculator and a formulae sheet, for the papers that allow them.

Revise together

Revision that feels less lonely

Short sessions fit around school, and Group Challenge turns a topic into a quick quiz with friends.

  • Friends only: added by username, with a parent's OK
  • Chat opens only during a challenge, then is deleted
  • Links, emails and phone numbers are blocked in chat

How it works

  1. 1

    Create an account

Sign up with your email, then choose a username for your child. One account per child.

  2. 2

    Pick courses and dates

Choose the STEM GCSEs being taken and when to start and finish. That is all we ask for.

  3. 3

    Start a first practice session

Short sessions on topic questions, marked straight away with feedback. Parents see activity and scores.

Simple pricing, paid by a parent

One payment for a fixed term. It never renews by itself, so there is nothing to cancel.

Each plan is for one child's account in this module. A parent creates the account and pays.

How credits work

Credits pay for the two things that take extra work: instantly marking written answers and the voice tutor. Multiple-choice and number answers are marked by the app and never use credits.

Credits used by each action
ActionCredits
Mark a short written answer1
Mark an extended written answer3
Ask the tutor a question2
  • For example, Plus's 400 credits a month cover 400 short answers, or 133 extended answers, or a mix of both.
  • Credits reset every 30 days from the day a paid plan starts. The free plan's 10 credits reset at the start of each month. Unused credits do not carry over.
  • If credits run out, nothing is blocked: your child can mark their own written answers against the mark points, and instant marking and the voice tutor come back at the next reset.

Built for children, trusted by parents

  • Minimal data

A parent email, a username for your child, their subjects and plan length. Children never need an email address.

  • No ads, no tracking

No analytics cookies and nothing sold. Their revision is theirs.

  • Marking that shows its working

Every marked answer lists the mark points and has a “Question this mark” button.

Questions parents ask

Do we have to choose Foundation or Higher?
No. Each subject includes both Foundation and Higher content, so students never pick a tier. Computer Science has no tiers.
Why only maths, science and computing?
These subjects have answers that are definitely right or wrong, so we can mark them exactly and fairly. We do not offer essay subjects such as English or History, where marking is a matter of opinion.
How is marking done, and how accurate is it?
Written answers are marked automatically by our marking engine against the mark points, and it shows which were met. It can occasionally make mistakes, so every answer has a “Question this mark” button, and if credits run out students can mark themselves, so they are never blocked.
Which subjects have exam questions?
GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Computer Science, GCSE Mathematics, GCSE Physics, GCSE Statistics, Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics have exam-style questions now. Other subjects already have the study plan and topic checklists, and questions are added subject by subject.
Is Group Challenge safe?
It is private: children can only race friends they have added by username, and only after a parent switches on Friends. Chat opens only while a challenge is running, blocks links, emails and phone numbers, and is deleted when the challenge ends. The free plan includes short challenges of up to 5 questions.
Does it renew automatically?
No. You pay once for 3, 6 or 12 months. When it ends, your child keeps the free sample and you can buy more any time.
What data do you collect about my child?
A first name or nickname, subjects, study-plan dates and their answers. There are no ads and no analytics cookies. See the Privacy Notice for details.
Can I get a refund?
No. Access starts as soon as you pay, so plans are not refundable. Please try the free sample questions first. Your legal rights if something is faulty are not affected. See our Refund Policy.
